Danielle Petersen grew up in Ankeny, Iowa dancing and studying a variety of dance styles. Danielle graduated from Ankeny Centennial High School having been a member of both the Ankeny High School Dance team and the first ever Ankeny Centennial High School Dance team. Danielle went on to attend Iowa State University where she was a member of the Iowa State Dance Team for four years, serving in the role of Workout Captain and Team Captain while on the team and earning two national dance titles. Danielle recently graduated with a double major in marketing and management. She continues her role as an integral part of the instructional staff at Dancin’ with Roxie, serving as Competition Director, where she has been teaching since 2015 and has helped coached teams all the way to a NDA National Championship. Over her career, Danielle has also been recognized for her award winning contemporary, lyrical, jazz, kick and pom choreography for dance teams around the state of Iowa.
