McKenna Wilkinson started dancing at age 3, and has not stopped since! She is one of the original members of the DWR Competition Team. McKenna has been teaching & assisting in classes since she was in high school. She left her full time job in the dental industry to pursue her career as a full time dance teacher and a Director of the DWR Competition Team. She recently took on the role of Communication Manager for the dance studio, along with teaching recreational classes, the elite team, and the prestige team. Under McKenna’s direction, DWR athletes have been awarded many titles, including becoming nationally ranked and earning bids to Dance Worlds. McKenna’s favorite part about teaching is watching the dancers grow up and turn into beautiful dancers! Outside of the studio, Kenna enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Andrew & dog, Dax.
